I hand cut all the flower pieces, just with small scissors, no craft knife needed! I used the font AmerType Md BT for the title and 2peas squish for the journaling.

The word "falls" are the American Craft Felt thickers from our March Kit.

In keeping with the kit, the added letters are We R Memory Keepers. The stamp is from the May kit. I did some paper tearing and inking. I also cut the circles out from one of our papers this month for some added dimension. This layout is on cream cardstock from the kit, but some of the border was cut off in the scan.

I used a punch to make the arrows from the patterned paper in the kit.

The journaling was done on the computer with a font from the internet.

This is our new cat that we just rescued. She is fitting right into our family. The journal stamp is from the May kit. I also used fiber and did some hand sewing. Lots of inking as well.

The journaling was printed on the computer. It includes the words to "You are My Sunshine" because my kids and I sing this to each other all the time.

It is hard to really see online, but the papers from We R memory Keepers have a gorgeous metallic silver on them. I really wanted to emphasize this, so I added some silver Hambly paper I happened to have on my desk. I also used the felt letter stickers from the March kit.

I used a piece of cardstock and the letters from last month's kit, and the file tab from the March kit. I love when they just happen to match like this. I used all three of the different manufacturer's papers on this page, and they coordinated perfectly! The Heidi Grace stickers are such a cute touch on letters.

I love these papers together! I traced a scalloped piece of cardstock on the back of the Tres Jolie paper and cut it out to get the scalloped heart.

This is Phoenix on Easter with her bunny ears. I love the metal photo corners, and used a punch to make paper photo corners too.

One thing I like about Hilary's pages are how she uses pattern paper as an accent. I used just a little patterned paper on this page to make a butterfly and emphasize the title. Since this was a long title, I supplemented this month's alphabet with American Crafts rub-ons and some Arctic Frog letter stickers.

I noticed the chipboard letter package came with a bunch of punctuation marks, so I used some of them to make a little "sun."

The rub-ons this month are great for making borders. I used my own Doodlebug rub-ons for my subtitle.

This is 50% the May Kit and 50% the June Kit!

Again 50-50! The only thing I added was the Maya Road metal circle. I'm going to have Elsa write "I will not hit boys" on the little journaling strip coming out of the circles!

From left to right this is Julie, Jenn Claar, and myself. We went to Island Park, Idaho to scrap at a cabin on the Snake River for National Scrapbooking Day and Julie's 40th! It was a ton of fun!! There were picture windows surronding our scrap space! The picture on the other page that looks like the Loch Ness monster are actually river otters.

The small photos along the bottom of the page were printed out as wallet size, landscape of course.

Hillary picked the paper so why not use sketches from her class for the layout! That was my thought anyway. This is based on the last sketch from Hillary's April one in 48 class at www.nycscraps.com. I used an American Crafts metallic silver pen to do the dots. The SMILE and THE are from the February and April Alphas.

The challenge for this layout was to journal about a family trait. Here is the journaling: May 10, 2007 When you were a baby we really couldn’t tell who you looked like. People said you looked like me and also a lot like dad. It wasn’t until your second birthday that I took a photo and said to myself “You look just like Grandma Barbara!” You look a lot like your Great Aunt Betty-Jo as well. Which makes sense since Betty-Jo and Barbara look a lot alike! You have one of Great Aunt Betty Jo’s dimples, just one! You also look like Betty-Jo’s son, my cousin, Geoff. As soon as your teeth came in, it became apparent that you have the Arendsee smile. Your Great-Grandma Pauline, Great Uncle Jack, and my cousins Anne and Sarah, all had the gap between their teeth just like you do! When I told Pauline you had the gap she said you would look like the singer, Madonna, who also has a large gap. Anne and Sarah had their gaps fixed by braces, and Pauline’s went away when she got dentures. I hope you keep it. It’s so cute! Plus it’s a family trait! Arendsee is Pauline’s maiden name, hence, The Arendsee Smile. The blue vein between your eyes? I don’t know where that comes from! Probably your dad’s side of the family!

I rubbed brown distress ink over the yellow cardstock to tone it down a bit and match the paper nicely.

Okay - this scan is really bad - the button really made it hard to scan. This is just a little thank you note I made. The swirl is with an American Crafts silver pen.
