Christmas Joy --
I loved the vintage Christmas look of this paper. I wanted the whole page to evoke the feeling that the floral paper gave me. I muted the colors on my picture to give it more of a vintage look. I softened the page by adding lots of stitching details and by using my Martha Stewart edge punch. I inked my chipboard letters with brushed corduroy Distress Ink.

Let it Snow --
I stitched around the title for more dimension. I cut out the tiny snow flakes from the patterned paper and adhered them with foam squared to give them, too, more dimension. Ribbon from my stash

Snow --
I wanted this page to look almost like it had been snowed on itself. I lightly covered the chipboard "s" and the star with glitter. You can't really tell from the picture, but it really looks like snow! To really give my page the feeling of "snow" i added the bling and the snowflakes. Thickers, Twine and brown button are from my stash.

I punched little wholes in the blue snowflake so that I could thread the twine up through the star, snowflake and then button.

Babe in Toyland --
When I saw the paper with the cute little presents on it I knew immediately that I wanted to do a page titled this. I cut out the cute little presents and then added glitter around the edges and a little pearl in the center (both from my stash). I then made the bigger present by just cutting out a square and a smaller rectangle and stitching the ribbon down. I adhered it to y paper with foams squares for mor dimension. For the bow, I curled tiny strips of scrap paper and then adhered it into place. (Jenni Bowlin rub-on from my stash)

Gift Card holders (3601)
We are giving out a fair amount of gift cards this year, so I really wanted to make some snazzy little holders for them. The first one I altered a little bag that I found at a craft store for less than a dollar! I cut off the little handles that came with it and instead used left over ribbon fom the kit. For the second one I just mad a cute little card and then wound some twine around it, threaded it through the flower and then tied it off. Super fast, easy and Cute!

Our Tree --
When I saw the bling that I used on this page, I immediately thought it looked like the tops of ornaments. SO, I took that idea and ran:) I cut out the ornaments from left over scraps and then added some handstitching to make it look like dangling ornaments. MM alphas and red cardstock from my stash.

1959 -- I wanted to keep this layout fairly simple to give it more of a timeless look. I cut out the swirls from the Kaiser Paper and flowers from the Basic Grey paper and layered them over the journaling area and my picture. The numbers I aged using Distress ink and Glimmer Mist. Imaginisce glitter brads are from my stash.

Garland -- All items except the addition of more ribbon is from the kit.
To create the effect on the chipboard letters I first inked the raised embossed areas with Distress ink. Then I went back and covered the edges with red ink. After all the ink had dried I then misted each of them with Glimmer Mist (Key Lime Pie). After the Glimmer Mist was dry I went back with a brown marker and outlined all the embossed areas.

With Santa - To create the scallop edge on the bottom I used a 1" circle punch and made staggered rows of circles. A little time consuming, but I love the results. Items I added from my stash: Avery tag, Making Memories and American Craft alphabet stickers, and a 7gypsies label.

Tis The Season (card) - After making my joy banner from the kit I had these small triangle shaped pieces left over and since I hate wasting scraps (especially when they would work perfectly as trees . . . ) I put them to use on this little card. Also I folded a long strip of pattern paper into loops to make a bow. The rubon sentiment by Bo Bunny is from my stash.

25 Years - My Grandparents engagement and 25th Anniversary pictures. For this LO I cut out the middle of the cardstock, distressed it and then sewed the patterned paper behind it, to make it look like a picture frame. I cut out the flower from the Basic Grey patterned paper & hand cut the years part of the title. The brads from the November 08 kit & the trim is from my stash.

Christmas Decoration - I bought these inexpensive clear empty balls from Wal Mart for this project. You can pop out the top and fill with whatever you like - they make excellent small gifts (maybe for a teacher??) I used about twenty to twenty five 0.5x12 inch strips. I rolled them tightly around a pencil and then slid them off & dropped them into the ball. I also added glitter and snowflake sequins from my stash. This was inspired by another scrapper over at 2 peas in a Bucket.

It's all Worth It - For this LO I cut out a triangle shape & then cut it into strips. I distressed the edges and then sewed the strips to the page. This was inspired by a LO I saw on another website. The brads are from the May 08 kit. The Basic Grey letters are from my stash.

Santa: I was inspired by our guest designer Laura Vegas...and all her wrapping and bow tying. :) I thought it went perfectly with the theme as well. The tag and sticker letters are from my stash and the big chipboard letters were just a tad too large so I simply cut around the outline to make them a bit thinner.

Limo: I used a simple dotted stamp for a little added texture. I also cut the rhinestone flourish apart to make my own design.
